Summoning Arena
The summoning arena is the first stop for new players and for any player looking to further build their card collections.
Each tournament is a completely level playing field, with each player creating their army from randomly generated booster packs of cards. At the end of each tournament, players will be able to mint new NFT cards. These cards are yours to keep and will be added to your wallet, becoming available for use in the gauntlet.
Each tournament has seven rounds. In each round you will get a new booster pack of 6 cards to use, containing 3 commons, 2 uncommons, and 1 rare or mythic. Unused cards will not be available next round. Cards used will be available next round.
More options become available as the rounds progress:
Rounds 1-2: 5 altar positions available. Rounds 3-4: 10 altar positions available. Rounds 5-7: 10 altar positions and bloodstains available.
Your opponent will always be another player who is at the same round as you are, so you both have the same altar and bloodstain options available, however, you will both have opened different random booster packs.
Game Modes
There are two types of tournament in the summoning arena, Pro and Freeplay. Pro tournaments require the burning of $BLOOD tokens to enter but come with the best prizes. Note: Burning $BLOOD to play will kick in once the token is launched, for now you can play on testnet just by connecting a wallet FreePlay mode still has prizes, however you cannot win any Mythic cards, and will not be eligible for the latest sets as they come out. We have added this mode to let players start at zero cost and get a feel for the game before paying entry fees.

At the end of seven rounds, points collected will be used to mint NFTs. The character card NFTs in blood altar come in 4 rarities. Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Mythic.

Card cost in points. Common: 1 Uncommon: 2 Rare: 4 Mythic: 7 Example: At the end of 7 rounds I have 5 wins. This gives me 6 points to spend. So I could mint 1 rare and 1 uncommon, or 3 uncommons, or any variation I choose upto 6 points total.
