The Gauntlet
Constructed Game Mode
The Gauntlet is the battleground where you put your collection to work and win prizes. Each player pays an entry fee and these fees are combined to create the prize pool.
Unlike tournaments in the Summoning Arena, all options (10 altar positions, bloodstains, and your full collection of cards) are available to you in the order step. You will set your optimal build and enter the tournament. You will not be able to change your build during rounds.
The minion cards you use for your build must have gauntlet lives left. See minon cards for details.
Tournament Structure
There is seven rounds of the Gauntlet, split into 3 stages. Stage 1:
Each player faces three opponents
2 losses = elimination from the gauntlet
Stage 2:
Each remaining player faces three opponents
2 losses = elimination from the gauntlet
Stage 3:
Each remaining player faces one other opponent.
Prizes are then calculated based on your number of wins.
Gauntlet Prize Pool Breakdown
** All players receive 2000 XP upon entry**
Total Prize Pool: 90% of all entry fees.
Entry Fee: $5 per player.
Example: If 1000 players enter, the total prize pool is $4500.
Prizes
Round 3 Players (4+ Wins):
Receive their entry fee ($5) refunded.
This amount is subtracted from the total prize pool before other prizes are calculated.
Silver Prize Pool (5+ Wins):
Players with 5 or more wins split the Silver Prize Pool equally.
The Silver Prize Pool is what’s left after refunds, divided by 3.
Gold Prize Pool (6+ Wins):
Players with 6 or more wins split the Gold Prize Pool equally + their share of Silver Pool.
The Gold Prize Pool is double the size of the Silver Prize Pool.
Jackpot (7 Wins):
A player with 7 wins gets their entry fee + silver prize pool share + gold prize pool share + the jackpot
If multiple players achieve 7 wins in the same tournament they will split the Jackpot
Special rules:
If no one achieves 6+ wins, the Gold Prize Pool is added to the Silver Prize Pool.
If no one achieves 5+ wins, the entire prize pool (after refunds) is distributed among players who made it to Round 3.
Example Prize Distribution
With 1000 Players:
Total Entry Fees: $5000.
Prize Pool After Platform Cut: $4500.
Refunds for Round 3 Players: Suppose 300 players make it to Round 3:
Refunds: 300×5= $1500
Remaining Prize Pool: 4500−1500= $3000
Dividing the Prize Pools:
Silver Prize Pool: 3000÷3= $1000
Gold Prize Pool: 2×1000 = $2000
Example Payouts:
100 players get 5+ wins: Each gets $10 from the Silver Prize Pool + Refund
20 players get 6+ wins: Each gets $100 from the Gold Prize Pool + Silver Prize Pool share + Refund
1 player gets 7 wins: They receive Refund + Silver share + Gold share + they also claim the Jackpot!
